At Lake House, your loved ones are never a liability

Selecting the right community can be a challenging and stressful process. Because the nature of finding the right facility can be so difficult, we often hear from caregivers who have had to repeat this process. Lake House is committed to serving our residents for as long as they need us.

New circumstances may result in changes to a resident's costs, but residents will never be dismissed from Lake House because additional services are required. At Lake House, you or your loved one are never a liability.

The Moore Family

The mother and son team of Cheryl and Eric Moore have successfully owned and operated facilities like Lake House for 20 years. Their ability to deliver best-in-class care at affordable rates has drawn the acclaim of residents and their peers in the industry alike. Both Cheryl and Eric are proud of the relationships each has built with partnering doctors, pharmacists, home health personnel and the families of residents. Those relationships are the foundation for the exceptional experiences Lake House residents continue to have.

Family-owned Community

Lake House is a family-owned and operated assisted living facility. Because the owners of the property are also the operators (i.e. Administrators) of the community, there is a strong dedication and sense of compassion for the building, staff, residents and their family. Throughout their decades-long careers in assisted living, the Moore family has committed themselves to enriching the lives of their residents, in addition to addressing residents' personal care, nutrition, leisure activity, and health.

Unlike corporate-owned facilities with complicated leadership structures, the Moore family is the CEO and Vice President of the business while remaining active and involved in every aspect of care. Both Cheryl and Eric are very accessible and on-call 24/7 to be of service to any changes, concerns, comments or compliments to be made!

Levels of Care

Our Levels of Care

At Lake House, our residents are never a liability—and we would never treat them that way. In fact, we take pride in the fact that our well-trained and caring staff provides top-notch care, regardless of the level of care needed by the resident.

We allow residents to age at home and for staff to provide a higher level of care unless the resident needs continuous nursing care that our staff and home health companies cannot supply.

Additionally, this licensure enables Lake House to assist residents needing services such as:

  • Two-person transfer

  • Maximum assist with eating

  • Wheelchair-bound

  • Bathing

  • Dressing

While some assisted living facilities limit the amount of care they provide residents, that doesn't happen at Lake House. That's one of the many reasons we'll never remove your loved one from our facility because of new challenges.
